Directed by (who also choreographed) Angus Jacobs and with musical direction from Julie Dance, this first class production had tons of energy and bubbly performances.
The ensemble singing was excellent and the dancing was even better. One of the most emotional vocal performances came from Chloe Ballard as Rizzo and There are worse things I could do. Joe Humberstone displayed rock star charisma as Kenickie as he belted out Greased Lightning. This may have surprised the audience as Danny sings this song in the film. Bryn Hughes was simply charming with his assured performance as Teen Angel. Liam Brelsforth as Roger and Jade Hollingshead were in terrific comic form and had great chemistry.
It was an evening of tremendous fun with full commitment from the entire company. It was ELECTRIFYING!
